FUOYE Gets 18 First Class Students

The Vice Chancellor of Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), Professor Kayode Soremekun, has said that the institution will on Friday officially graduate 504 students of the institution for 2014/15 and 2015/16 graduating sets during its maiden convocation ceremonies
Soremekun mentioned that 18 of the graduates bagged First Class honours made of eight and 10 respectively in the two sessions.
The VC said at the convocation press briefing at Oye Ekiti that 224 students bagged second class upper, 213 got second class lowers, 48 students got third class while one student graduated with pass for the two sessions.
He furtherly said that honorary doctorate degrees of the University would be conferred on four individuals, including former principal of Ekiti Parapo College, Ido-Ekiti, Pa Adepoju Komolafe: first indigenous principal of Queens College, Lagos, Mrs, Efunjoke Coker: Chief Francis Daramola, retired principal of Christ’s School, Ado-Ekiti: and a Lagos-based ICT consultant, Mr. Babatope Agbeyo.
