JAMB 2018: Meet Candidate With The Highest Score So Far

Aliyu Muhammad Sani Kaugama, a UTME candidate from
Jigawa State has so far emerged the candidate with highest
score in the 2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination
(UTME) which is scheduled to end today.
Kaugama finished his secondary school education from the
Academy for the Gifted and Talented Bamaina School in
Jigawa.

According to reports, he scored 311 in the 2018 UTME.
Mansur Ahmed, a media aide to the former Governor of
Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, shared the story of Kaugama’s
academic feat on Facebook in Hausa.

This is what Mansur wrote in English: “The candidate who got
the highest JAMB scores comes from Jigawa. Aliyu
Muhammad Sani Kaugama is the candidate with the highest
JAMB scores so far this year. The brilliant student of Academy
for the gifted and talented Bamaina school scored 311 in the
matriculation exams that was sat last week.

“There have been calls lately to the Governor Jigawa State
Mohammed Badaru Abubakar to sponsor this young brilliant
guy to study abroad so as to reach his maximum potential.”
He said.
